Challenge of the week
The challenge of the week is a weekly changing task that you can try to complete. This week's challenge is to create any sort of mechanism that automates the calculation of a formula. For example, a program that can do the Pythagorean theorem. Try to create something that performs the quadratic formula. If you want to learn more about the quadratic formula or if you forget it, click here.

This challenge relates to multiples scientific fields depending on how you go about solving it. You may even find a way of automating a formula with the use of physical objects such as marbles and tracks, which would require you to do some thinking about physics.
